Attendance at specific work location required
No face, neck, or head tattoos
No illegal drug sale in lifetime
36 months drug free
12 months marijuana free
No felony criminal history / dishonorable discharge
Residency requirements (within 60 miles of Falkenburg Road Jail)
Pass intensive background check

Completion of Physical Abilities Assessment (PAA) - This physical fitness test measures your ability to perform
the essential tasks of the job. The PAA consists of a series of
exercises including running, climbing, dragging weights, and
navigating obstacles. You must complete the course within a

Detention Trainee
19 years old
High school diploma or GED
Completion of Criminal Justice Basic Ability Test (CJBAT) -
This test assesses your cognitive abilities for

Detention Pre-Certified
FL Corrections certification
Law Enforcement Trainee
21 years old
60 college credits or 3 years US military
Completion of Criminal Justice Basic Ability Test (CJBAT)
